When should I call Greene Moving & Storage?
When possible, it’s best to call 6 weeks before your move. Advance planning ensures that your moving date will be reserved, and gives us time to work with you to work out details ahead of time. Early preparation with your commercial mover helps avoid last minute complications, and helps make moving your business hassle-free.
Should I get an estimate from Greene Moving & Storage?
It’s a good idea to have a Greene Moving & Storage trained representative visit your business early in your planning. We can review your plans, help you construct a plan of action, and give you a reasonable idea of costs so you can develop a working budget for your relocation.
Who should be at my locations on the day that Greene Moving & Storage moves my business?
Ideally, the fewest number of people possible should be present at both your old and new business locations. You should have one person at each place who is the authorized coordinator of the move. Too many people at the office on moving day can slow the progress of the move.
What can’t Greene Moving & Storage move during a commercial relocation?
If you have leased office equipment, you should consult with your vendors prior to moving your business. In some cases, they will require that they move leased items such as copiers, computers, or vending machines themselves. However, Greene Moving & Storage has the experience and skill to safely move any of these items for you.
Does Greene Moving & Storage require that we pack our files before the move?
We recommend that you consult with Greene Moving & Storage prior to moving your office or business. Some models of filing cabinets can be moved with files in place. We can advise you, and save you the effort of unnecessarily packing and unpacking files.
If files do need to be packed, we have specialized plastic packing crates for rent from our Moving Supplies Department. These crates hold more files, provide them with better protection, and have wheels for easier moving.
